Win an Apple Watch band from Monowear Design!

Monowear Design is in an American Company based in San Francisco, California. Their mission is to design “high-quality unique products at reasonable prices to reach more people.” I have been very impressed with my Monowear watch bands and reached out to them for a review and giveaway.

If you’re an Apple fan, chances are already you own an Apple Watch. I like to have several different watch bands for my watch to match my activity and clothing for that day. Monowear Design offers several different types of leather and nylon bands for a decent price. One can easily find dozens of cheap leather bands on Amazon for under $10USD. However, their quality can not be that great for such a low price.  Monowear offers their bands for a higher cost, but with that, you’ll get a much higher quality band. Read on to see how you can win a custom band for your own Apple Watch.

What I dislike about some of the other leather bands I’ve seen elsewhere is the space between the lug and the band. That just gives the watch a cheap feel, in my opinion. Monowear’s offerings have almost no spacing, resulting in a much sleeker look.

I have owned both the classic leather and nylon versions for my previous Apple Watch, the series 2. What I appreciate the most about Monowear is that they have specific lugs (connectors) that will match your watch (black, aluminum or stainless steel).

Monowear Design sent me a Leather Deployant band for review. It is amazingly well-made and unique in its clasp design. Once you figure out your desired size, you won’t have to worry about ever unlatching the buckle again. The workmanship is excellent and the design is flawless. The lugs fit perfectly and look great with next to no contrast with the body of the watch. Having this for dressier occasions definitely gives the watch a distinguished look, and I like the “tougher” leather as it will last a long time. Although it feels slightly heavier than some of my other bands, it is still very comfortable to wear.

Monowear Provides Great service

Since I have used their bands for over two years myself, I have had nothing but exceptional customer service from Monowear. I actually lost half a band and they were able to replace it for free within just a few weeks with some of their refurbished stock. I was very impressed both with how they resolved my issue and with the expediency in their customer service.

I look forward to seeing the patina develop with more use of this band. This band is definitely going to be used for special occasions and when I dress up a bit more.

Check out Monowear’s website at The website contains many different options and customizations for your Apple Watch, and you will definitely find one that you will love. In terms of price, they tend to generally still be cheaper than the official bands from Apple. If you haven’t yet had an opportunity to get additional bands for your watch, definitely check these out. It’s amazing how something simple as switching your band can change the entire look of your watch.

Monowear bands can often be found at big box stores such as Target or Best Buy and online at, but ordering direct from them can have its benefits as well.
